On November 21, 2022, Grant Thornton Vietnam and USM Healthcare Company officially launched a comprehensive evaluation and consulting project for the ERP Pre-Implementation phase.
USM Healthcare Medical Equipment Factory Joint Stock Company (referred to as USM Healthcare Company) was established in 2012 and is the first company in Vietnam to produce cardiovascular products such as: Angioplasty balloons, Coronary stent system, intravenous needle.
Located in High-Tech Park, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, USM Healthcare Medical Equipment Factory Joint Stock Company aims to produce high-tech medical equipment with the main product being cardiovascular and medical consumables. With a total area of 10,000 m2, the infrastructure includes office blocks, laboratory blocks and production, research and development areas.
The factory is equipped with modern machinery and equipment to achieve high-tech production requirements, including equipment in the production area, quality management and microbiology laboratory area, and inspection room. , material warehouse for raw materials and finished product packaging.
The factory has developed and maintained a strict quality management and inspection system with results certified by standards such as ISO 9001:2015; ISO 13485:2016.
In November 2021, USM Healthcare Company had a strategic investment cooperation signing ceremony with Eastbridge Partners - Korea with an investment capital of 30 million USD. This is a major turning point in USM Healthcare's international integration process to expand and promote research and production capacity to meet domestic and foreign needs.
The project scope aims to comprehensively evaluate human resource capacity, develop detailed professional requirements from Purchasing, Sales, Financial Accounting (VAS and IFRS), Project Budget Management , supply chain management, production, building dynamic reporting sets according to the actual needs of the management team. From there, build goals and a roadmap for selecting and implementing the ERP system to optimize time and resources and achieve the targets set by the USM Healthcare Board of Directors.
With the intention of implementing ERP that has been in place for 5 years now, USM Healthcare's Board of Directors is determined to deploy ERP in 2022-2023 with the goal of building a foundation for the upcoming growth roadmap. Through the process of understanding and evaluating the consulting unit's capacity, USM Healthcare decided to choose Grant Thornton Vietnam, one of the few units capable of performing pre-deployment assessment, as a co-consulting unit. Pre-ERP Implementation Readiness Assessment and ready for the detailed Golive ERP implementation phase in the near future.
