Grant Thornton Vietnam supports Coteccons in the acquisition of GEO Foundations Vietnam
Grant Thornton Vietnam is pleased to support Coteccons as Deal Advisor in Coteccons’ acquisition of 100% equity interest in GEO Foundations Vietnam, a specialized foundation engineering company formerly known as Bauer Vietnam.
In this transaction, Grant Thornton Vietnam provided the following services:
- Financial Due Diligence, supporting Coteccons in assessing financial and tax-related risks and opportunities throughout the transaction process;
- Advisory support during negotiations with the Seller, particularly on key transaction matters, including Conditions Precedent (CP) and completion and closing requirements (Completion/Closing items - CS lists), contributing to the optimization of the transaction structure.
The acquisition of GEO Foundations Vietnam’s specialized foundation engineering capabilities - a company that has participated in numerous major infrastructure projects in Vietnam represents a strategic step in Coteccons’ plan to expand its core technical capabilities and enhance its competitiveness in infrastructure and public investment projects in the coming period.
