In order to meet the demand of our growing practices, we are looking for a qualified candidate to fill in a position of Legal Senior/Experienced Consultant of our Hanoi office. Detailed tasks of and required qualifications for this position are as follows:
Job Description
- Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, transactions, and business operations.
- Draft and review a broad range of agreements (e.g., NDAs, service agreements, licensing, M&A documents).
- Advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and conduct legal research and provide interpretation of laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to the business.
- Monitor legal developments and proactively update the organization or clients on relevant changes in law.
- Builds good rapport with the client, with a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service.
- Develops a network within the tax department and other service lines.
- Assists Managers in internal technical training.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in law.
- Having 1-3 years working experience in legal practice in a law firm or consulting firm.
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good project management, teamwork, interpersonal and communications skill.
- Candidates holding lawyer’s practicing certificate or equivalent are preferable but it is not mandatory.
