We are a leading professional services organisation in Vietnam providing Audit, Tax, Advisory and Business Process Solutions. We have a professional team of 12 Partners and more than 380 professional staffs in offices located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In order to meet the demand of our growing practices, we’re looking for a qualified candidate to fill in a position of Manager for Business Risk Services of our Ho Chi Minh City office. Detailed tasks of and required qualifications for this position are as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Market

Commercial understanding

  • Demonstrate good commercial thinking to understand the client and the business issues

Business development

  • Take an active part in networking events and build a personal network from which to generate leads
  • Actively involved in marketing events and is an ambassador for the firm
  • Seek to participate in business development activities and contribute to sales pitches 

Clients

  • Responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
  • Ensure the Firm’s Quality and risk management policies and procedures are followed
  • Lead the team to provide following services to client:

Internal Audit: 

Internal audit engagements including Outsourced, Co-sourced internal audit and internal audit transformation.

Process Risk and Control: 

  • Business process review and reengineering 
  • Process documentation and manual preparation

Risk Management: 

  • Facilitate risk workshops to identify key risks 
  • Independently review risk frameworks, and provide input from shared good practice
  • Advise on risk identification, monitoring and reporting.

Fraud and forensics services:

  • Investigations, dispute resolution, including accounting integrity and conduct matters, SPA disputes, investigations fraud solutions and computer forensics.
  • Assess organization’s vulnerability to fraud and provide recommendation to strengthen their internal controls to prevent 

And other related services.

People

  • Plan and co-ordinate all aspects of staffing requirements
  • Responsible for managing BRS teams on specific assignments, with specific line management responsibility for a group of staff 
  • Manage, motivate and coach team members and provide feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Auditing, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Business Risk Services, or External Audit.
  • Prior experience in a similar role at a professional services firms or a large accounting firm is preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel and flowcharting tools.
  • Experience in Information system or IT audit (including IT General controls and IT application controls) is an advantage.
  • Holding or pursuing internationally professional qualifications (e.g. CIA, ACCA or CISA) is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Innovative, proactive, energetic and eager to learn.
